Dr. D. John Thiruvadigal is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Nanotechnology at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Chennai, India. His academic and research activities are centered on nanoelectronics, with a particular emphasis on the design and development of next-generation materials that offer enhanced functional and performance properties. Driven by a deep commitment to academic excellence, his pedagogical approach prioritizes critical thinking, scientific rigor, and innovation among students at all levels. His research portfolio focuses on computational studies of advanced materials, including recent work on nanocarriers for drug delivery—especially boron-nitride nanotubes—and the development of nanomaterials for solar-energy and electronic applications. Dr. D. Elil Raja is Professor and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, Chennai, with more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. He earned his PhD from Anna University with a specialization in fixture layout design and optimization. His research interests include engineering design, composite materials, machining studies, optimization techniques, and finite element analysis. Dr. Elil Raja has an impressive record of high-impact journal publications, contributing extensively to SCI and Scopus-indexed journals such as Silicon, Fibers and Polymers, Advances in Materials Science and Engineering, Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery, and Water, Air and Soil Pollution. He has collaborated widely with national and international researchers, resulting in significant scientific contributions across multiple domains. He has presented papers at major international conferences, organized several Faculty Development Programs, and actively supports accreditation, research consultancy, and departmental development initiatives. Dr. Sushil Kumar, Professor and Former Head, Department of Chemical Engineering at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (INDIA) has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. He did his B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI) - Kanpur, M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Kanpur and Ph.D. from BITS - Pilani. His current research interest includes Process Intensification, Separations, Waste Water Treatment Bio-polymeric Materials and Biofuels. He has handled the many research and consultancy projects funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST) New Delhi, Council of Science and Technology UP, TEQIP-II, Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi under Namami Gange Scheme, Industry. Prof Sushil has authored 02 patents, 90 publications in International journals of repute and more than 80 conference proceedings, 11 book chapters, and 03 edited books. He serves on editorial boards of 03 international/national Journals and guest editors of 07 SCI/Scopus indexed journals of repute. He has successfully supervised 12 Ph.D. scholars and many PG thesis in his expertise. He has successfully organized 09 International/national conferences and 15 short term course/national workshops as a convener/organizing secretary. He has delivered the Invited talks in the various international/national events. Prof Sushil visited Salt Lake City (USA) and Atlanta (USA) to attend 2010 AIChE and 2014 AIChE annual meetings, and other countries for invited talk, chairing session and presenting research finding in the International conferences.
Prof. Parasharam M. Shirage received his Ph.D. in Physics from Shivaji University, Kolhapur (India) in 2004, completed his postdoctoral studies at the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute, Changwon, South Korea (2004-2006), and was also a JSPS Fellow. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore. He is a Fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and is recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists. His research focuses on superconductors, electrochemistry, thin films, and nanomaterials for solar cells, sodium-ion and metal-air batteries, and gas sensing applications. With over 265 publications, he has received several honors, including the Best Teacher Award (2016) and the MRSI Medal (2020). He has also held key administrative positions at IIT Indore and actively collaborates with researchers worldwide.
